Nose aesthetic operations, known as Rhinoplasty, are often preferred today in order to reshape the bone and cartilage tissues of the nose and give an aesthetic appearance to patients.
A deformity in the nose, which is one of the most striking parts of the face, both affects the mental health of the person and brings along different problems. At the same time, this situation triggers the patient’s self-confidence problem as a result of aesthetic anxiety, while the inability to breathe in a healthy way turns into an important source of stress in terms of vital comfort.
Oxygen deficiency as a result of deformity;
• The exertion capacity of the lungs may decrease
• Taking a small amount of oxygen leads to weakness and fatigue. This situation also triggers sleep inefficiency.
Rhinoplasty operations are applied for both health and aesthetic concerns.
• Arched structure of the nose or dimensional mismatch with respect to the face
• Nose tip deformations,
• It is preferred in cases such as curvature or depression in the nose.
Two types of operation techniques are generally preferred in rhinoplasty. There are severe bone curvature and nasal tip complaints in the open technique group. Depressions and deficiencies in the cartilage structure can also be eliminated with the open technique. The technique, which allows all the tissues of the region to be seen, proceeds in the form of lifting the nasal tip skin and opening the cartilage holistically.
Closed rhinoplasty operations are generally applied to reduce the nose and to remove the bumps on the back of the nose. The recovery process is a relatively quick process and the incisions are located within the nostril.
•People who have undergone rhinoplasty may experience a feeling of pressure, swelling or bruising in the first three days.
• Water should not be consumed for 4 hours after the procedure. Consumptions of water in the early period may cause vomiting in patients.
• In case of going to sleep, it should be laid upright and the neck should be supported by a double pillow.
• For the first 2 weeks, care should be taken not to snub and strain the nose.
• Do not enter the sea or pool for 1 month.
